Judith has nearly thirty years’ experience in the mining and metals sectors. She
headed the mining finance team of
Société Générale until 2011 and acted as Business Development Director for
mining and metals for Rand Merchant Bank in
London until the end of 2019. Her experience ranges from project finance junior
miners through to funding multinationals
as well as trade and working capital finance, commodity hedging and corporate
finance. She also has a strong interest in
renewables and captive power for mines. She has been a Non-Executive Director of
BlackRock World Mining Trust since
2014, she also sits on the Board of Women in Mining UK and is a Trustee of the
Camborne School of Mines and is a Board
member of Galiano Gold and Eldorado Gold. Judith holds an MA from the University
of Oxford and a postgraduate Diploma in
Business Administration from the University of Warwick. She also holds an ESG
Competent Boards designation.
