Roy runs the risk management and hedging practice at Northcott and has over 30 years experience across international markets as a banker and adviser, focusing on mining.
He has previously worked at Johnson Matthey, Westpac, Republic National Bank of New York, Oakvale Capital and WestLB.
He began his career in London and a subsequent move to Sydney brought extensive exposure to mining companies, with a focus on the risk management of commodity prices, interest rates and foreign exchange.
At Oakvale Capital Roy ran the metals & mining risk advisory practice, then joining WestLB as head of commodities.
Roy holds a Masters Degree in Applied Finance from Macquarie University
